How do you show employees you appreciate them?

We offer flexible working hours and PTO and make clear that we value their physical and mental health so they can integrate work and life in a way that works best for the individual. We encourage everyone to give feedback so all points of view are heard and considered, are valued, regardless of seniority or department. Mentorship is a core value so employees are clear that we value not only the work they do for us now, but we want to have a positive impact on their careers wherever it leads them. We acknowledge personal and professional milestones with specific company rituals- especially important as a fully remote workforce.

How are you creating a workplace of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging?

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are core values and are reflected in how we hire, how we analyze employee retention and success as we grow, that we foster a culture of active listening and receiving feedback, and making sure that in the work we do, our customers and products are also representative of these values.

Why should someone work at your company?

We get to work with some of the most talented and creative minds in the world, across a broad array of content areas, helping them earn a living through their work. We're trying to create a product space that doesn't exist yet and while that is challenging, it's also really exciting. Everyone we hire has a passion for that core mission and considers themselves builders given the stage we're at. We believe the combination of those factors makes it a really rewarding place to work.

flexibility! When you are an early stage startup and your core work is with a wide array of creative people and global experts, building products you're still trying to understand, with a workforce distributed from Greece to Washington (state), during a pandemic, you get good at being really flexible and learning how to roll with things.
