ABOUT THE COMPANY

Doorsey is reimagining the home-buying offer process. Founded in early 2021 by core entrepreneurs Jordan Allen, Nick McLain and Matt Melville, Doorsey is on a mission to provide buyers, sellers and their agents an offer process that drives efficiency, equity, transparency and confidence. Via Doorsey, buyers, sellers and their agents are able to view all aspects of the offer process in real-time, under pre-accepted terms. For prospective buyers, it enables them to know exactly where their offer stands and what it will take to win. Sellers are able to set a minimum price to protect their bottom line, and buyers are able to make offers with confidence thanks to next-level listings, inclusive of virtual tours, neutral third-party inspection reports, disclosures, and more than 100 up-to-date, accurate photos. Each listing has a community forum where agents, building professionals, and sellers can come together with potential buyers to share their expertise and answer questions on properties, repairs, upgrades and the neighborhoods.

How do you show employees you appreciate them?

At Doorsey, it’s very important to us that our employees feel valued and appreciated, and we’re hyper focused on building an inclusive, creative, and fun culture. For example, each quarter, our team from around the country comes together for an off-site retreat to focus on teambuilding and getting to know one another on a personal level. The retreats include company hosted dinners and social activities. Our most recent retreat was in mid-April and included an intimate dinner at our CEO’s home.

Our team is encouraged to share their voice and ideas every day. Two-way communication is not just welcomed, it’s wanted. Employees are recognized as people first and extended flexibility in schedule and location to juggle the demands of work and life.
