How do you show employees you appreciate them?

Every employee gets an options package on top of their salary. Flexibility in schedules. - we allow our employees to work wherever and whenever they would like. Work-life balance - we respect boundaries and give all of our employees the time to have a life outside of their jobs. Vacations are real vacations and family time is actual family time. Support during tough times - we come together as a company to support employees who are sick or going through complex personal issues. Appreciation in public communication channels - our managers always shout out employees who act in accordance with our company values. Ongoing feedback sessions (#moments_of_growth) - we encourage employees to speak their mind and give constructive feedback at every opportunity and in real time. GrowthSpace is an employee development platform that centers around professional growth. Every employee can use our platform, and we expect each employee to go through at least one "growth sprint" with a mentor, trainer or coach per year. They can also do more if they choose. Promotions and career pathing are considered on an ongoing basis as part of our overall belief in people's growth.

How are you creating a workplace of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging?

Our remote culture lets us hire people who are not necessarily in central locations, with several employees coming from rural areas. We celebrate differences and embed them in every aspect of our recruitment and our product. We believe in hiring for skills and not age, race, or orientation. The average GrowthSpace employee is in their 40's and a parent. We always give space for working parents to make time for their families and we empower them to put their family first. Our workforce is 51% women and 49% men. We also ensure that there is pay equity regardless of gender, and the pay is decided based on the role only.
