Selling as a distributor is hard. Distributors carry hundreds of thousands of complicated SKUs, making it impossible for distributors to know what their customers need. Proton cuts through this complexity with AI. We provide a solution that modernizes distributors' sales efforts. And in doing so, we help distributors better serve their customers.

How do you show employees you appreciate them?

Beyond some of our amazing benefits, including company wellness days and a remote work stipend, we invest in employees’ professional development by supporting them in attending conferences and providing continuous learning opportunities. We also make a big effort to celebrate our employees’ many accomplishments, including through a Slack channel called #shout-outs that is one of the most active channels in the entire company. We love our employees, and recognize 100% of our company’s progress is thanks to them.

How are you creating a workplace of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging?

DEI&B is incredibly important to us. We’ve invested in reducing bias in everything we do–including hiring (where we use structured interviews and limit the role of resumes) and promotions (which we base on objective career ladders). We’ve also invested in a wide range of initiatives to make everyone here feel supported and included, from our highly flexible working policies, to internal groups like Women of Proton. 

Why should someone work at your company?

First and foremost, because of the teammates you’d get to work with. Our team spikes on transparency, teamwork, empathy, psychological safety, and ownership, and our employee NPS survey consistently shows how much people here love their teammates. Because of that amazing team, our company is growing quite fast and having a lot of success in our vertical.

Best continuous improvement attitude towards becoming the best place to work. We are constantly trying new things to make this a better place to work, measuring how well it works, and iterating. No company is born having the perfect people-oriented processes and systems in place, and our company is no different. But we’re extremely proud of feedback we get from employees, which is usually something like, "You guys really listen. Every time we raise a problem or suggestion, you do something to address it."
