How do you show employees you appreciate them?

The company recently had a couple of off site events, including painting and wine blending in Napa & Sonoma (+1s were welcomed too). They offer extensive benefits (just launched wellness benefits!), celebrate birthdays, and pride ourselves in paying competitively.

How are you creating a workplace of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging?

From the candidate experience to the company's every-day interactions, Searchlight strives to create a psychologically safe environment. The founders are underrepresented women who will not tolerate anything that is not equitable and who push others to constantly improve and question their decisions. DEI is something they emphasize at the workplace and they also challenge their customers to use Searchlight products to accomplish more in these areas. Searchlight also audits their products for adverse impact so that they don't bias against any demographic groups. 40% of their team come from underrepresented backgrounds.
